I’m not enthusiastic about a good many things that have been done in the Grateful Dead Pride Different Doesn’t Mean Wrong Shirt moreover I love this name of that flag, especially recently. But I still have respect for it. It’s not easy to explain. Court decisions have established the right of citizens to make a political statement by burning the flag. But maybe it would be good to have a very very good reason for mistreating the flag that so many people have given their lives in service to. People who say this are typically making this stuff up just to make an excuse to take the flag down because they personally hate the country. If however it is true that some people are “triggered “ by the flag, then they are silly little snowflakes who are probably equally “ triggered” by their own shadow. Lastly, excuse me, this IS the UNITED STATES and we have a flag. You snowflakes. Better get used to it. If they prefer a hammer and sickle or the green flag of Hamas there is a remedy for the snowflakes, unless they are gay then…. well .. maybe not the green flag as you might be thrown off of a building. Now that might trigger someone.

Burning the Flag, however, is not. The preferred method of disposal of the Flag when it is too worn, is by respectful burning. Burning the Flag in protest has been upheld as freedom of speech TWICE by the Supreme Court.
