Yes, people get shanked and beat up in prison. Some deserve it …some don’t. But you dont want to be a cop or a snitch or a child molester in prison…anywhere.

In Florida, you do 85% of your time but you could get out a year or so early for a work-release program. There is violence and rape and fights in Florida’s camps. It is especially bad for the youth camps. They call them gladiator camps as the young teens/adults are ALWAYS fighting…..always. They do have a few private prisons run by CCA or Corrections Custody of America and those are a little better with air conditioning and heat and decent food. The guards are not police so they are usually a little nicer. They are just doing their jobs.
