When they notice that it wasn’t him they would just stay by his door in case they missed him the first time and make sure that they would not miss him again. After about a month that he came back to visit they went crazy like ‘where were you? do you know that we were waiting and you never came?’. After that my brother would visit every couple weeks and they got into the routine that my brother wasn’t permanently gone only that he wasn’t around as often.
