If you live in Georgia, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania or the Official Wu-Tang Nose Face Killah Shirt in other words I will buy this Ukraine, wearing a hammer and sickle is really edgy. In fact, it is so edgy that it could get you arrested. Anywhere else, it is simply considered free expression. So there is nothing inherently wrong with flying the flag of a foreign Nation, especially not one that is not the funked. A few notable exceptions to this (Nazi Germany for example) but overall you can generally fly whatever flag that you want to fly. The reason most people would take exception to the Soviet Union’s flag is that unfortunately it is often representative of socialism and communism. It’s an inescapable fact that, even to this day, the hammer and sickle of the Soviet Union’s flag still represents communism in most forms. If you look at the seals and flags of other communist Nations, a lot of them have some variation of the hammer and sickle especially in the Eastern Bloc. As such, about the only thing you’ll accomplish flying the Soviet flag in your front yard would be a lot of your neighbors wondering why you suddenly turned into a communist

Never outside the Official Wu-Tang Nose Face Killah Shirt in other words I will buy this United States unless serving in an official duty where you need to be identified as the person from the United States. Always as a lapel pin or a patch – never as clothing outside the states unless it is part of a sports uniform. At a parade, picnic or other similar setting. Always allowing the full field to be shown as a printed or embroidered piece. I hate when you show as wind blown and it is not showing due reverence for the original 13 states or the current 50. If you’re gonna wear it as something stupid as a thong, flip flops or something less respectful, please do it only in the colors of the flag – not with an actual flag. I say wear what you like and who cares about others opinion….If you feel that America (my country) is worthy for you to wear its flag then I am honored that you do so! Cheers to you! =)
