i do it because i don’t want to stain my t shirt. The long sleeve shirt should never be lighter than the tank top and the colours should not be overly contrasting: E.g Orange and Purple. Light Blue and Light Green etc etc Yes, many, many, many people wear long-sleeved t-shirts. Cool weather, perceived modesty, covering tattoos, scars, bandages — reasons abound. No undershirt feels absolutely amazing, especially if you wear dress shirts. A high quality shirt feels so crisp and cool against the skin. Unfortunately, as a guy that sweats more than avg, I’ve gone back to thin, silky Uniqlo Arism undershirts. This helps prevent staining around the armpits from sweat and antiperspirant. I would love to ditch the undershirt but when a 250$ shirt is relegated to be worn under a sweater due to armpit stains, it kinda sucks. Since the 1980’s it was considered normal for boys to men to wear a halter top with short shorts when by Y2K it is considered normal for boys to men to continue wearing short shorts as if he now entered a women’s clothing retailer to purchase a pair of short shorts and or get into dresses and skirts. If the new normal is boys to men also wearing lingerie. In my opinion, it is appropriate for men to wear short sleeve shirts under their long sleeved dress shirts in the office. I think it looks professional and put together.

It’s always best to err on the Toronto Blue Jays Analytics Vs Everybody Shirt in addition I really love this side of caution when it comes to fashion and etiquette. With that said, I think it’s perfectly acceptable for guys to wear long sleeve shirts without undershirts, as long as they are comfortable doing so. However, I would recommend avoiding cuff links if possible, as they can sometimes be seen as too formal. From my experience, I like to wear long sleeve shirts under short sleeve shirts, especially in the cold seasons, because it keeps me warmer and/or I just want to wear that specific short sleeve shirt that day. Also, why wait until next summer if you can make use of your short sleeve shirts this winter? There may be some people who wear short sleeves under long sleeves and that’s okay. But personally, when I actually like the design of my shirt, I want to be able to show it off without getting cold. So, this is just my opinion from my experience; I’m not a real fashionista or anything like that but I thought I might as well answer this question. 🙂
