The Chicken Whisperer Shirt

The Chicken Whisperer Shirt

The DIs had a lot of restrictions as far as what they could and could not do, even when it came to cursing. They still did but we were ordering pizzas by week 4 and this was at Ft. Benning also. I look back now and I can really only think of two times where our DIs “smoked” us. Once was at night because a couple of guys were screwing around and not in their bunks so we did pushups until we had muscle failure. The 2nd time tho. Man. We had this large hill behind our barracks and the The Chicken Whisperer Shirt moreover I will buy this one afternoon we came back from the field we sat down in our bays and began stripping our rifles. Well, one guy in our platoon broke the cardinal rule. He left his weapon. Damn. And we all paid for it. The DIs took us out back to the hill. Made us field strip our entire weapon down to every piece and than forced us to run each piece UP the hill where we reassemmbled it…only to break it back down again just so we could run it back down the hill. When I was a recruit, Sunday was wash day. The Recruit Depots had wash racks, which if I remember correctly were 40 foot concrete sinks with cold water pipes running the length of the sinks. Recruits were issued galvanized buckets, wash brushes, and clothes pins. There was room for a whole Platoon of Recruits to wash their clothes on the wash racks and then air dry on the clothes lines. So, we learned how to wash our clothes the old fashion way. At least we didn’t have to squat at a stream and slap our clothes on rocks.

Official The Chicken Whisperer Shirt

We had a foot locker and wall locker in Basic Training. You only have military clothes and toiletries as I remember and you are taught from the The Chicken Whisperer Shirt moreover I will buy this beginning how you fold, place personal military clothes and stuff in each locker. Your foot locker and wall locker are inspected daily. We had to send our civilian clothes home. Everything is separated and you are taught how and were everything goes. Same for your bunk bed. The Drill Sergeants use to bounce a quarter on top of your bed. If it didn’t bounce they ripped all the blankets and sheets off your bed. So, they will teach you if it takes hours to learn or days until you get it right. You will become so neat and fit you won’t recognize yourself. Every barracks bottom and top floor has to have very polished floors as well. The Latreen has to be scrubbed everyday as well including the toilets. It might be more “relaxed nowadays. You don’t polish your boots anymore as they are a camouflaged canvas color. We had black leather boots and jungle boots in Vietnam. Best of luck!
