They have the right to think so, but the US Supreme Court ruled flag burning as protected free speech. The same applies to the slogan “I’d rather be Russian than a Democrat.” I see that as a deplorable slogan. I have the right to think so. I do not think that I should have the right to have those two thrown in prison for treason. One reason why not is that Trump *did* suggest that flag burning lead to “jail time or loss of citizenship.” Trump would gladly strip us of our citizenship for saying something he and/or his followers did not like. That’s what they would do to us. Well, for one thing, he has not been charged with treason. The other reason is, we are not living in 18th century France…We do not behead or hang our leaders.
