It’s just me,one person’s opinion, but I’d go for the Nike Logo San Francisco 49ers Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this tie dye one.Partly because it has a meaning to me,and partly because I think it makes a better looking blouse,and partly because wearing the camo jacket would go against the pacifist in me…and partly because right in front of the White House, I watched my best friend’s blood dripping from the bottom of a police riot shield as they broke up a sit-in of 180,000 people who were no older than 14 or 15.Like you need riot helmets and steel shields to protect you from a 14 year old sitting there for peace, and trying to bring the soldiers home from Vietnam. “Gosh those kids with their Brylcreem throwing the peace sign and shouting ‘The whole world is watching!’ and shaking hands with president Nixon are dangerous!Kill ’em all!” That’s the way the police saw it,and it’s part of why I wont wear camo…I was one of those kids..

I’m a Kiwi. Here in NZ I’ve worn tie died purple leggings with a nice sleeve less quite long slim fit designer Grey snake print shirt to nice dinner parties. The why is because it looks great. A bow tie as part of evening dress should only be worn if the Nike Logo San Francisco 49ers Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this invitation states the event is ‘black tie’ (dinner jacket) or ‘white tie’ (tailcoat). Otherwise, a bow tie should only be worn if it is, say, a patterned or club bow tie worn with a lounge suit or tweed jacket etc. Also, clip-on bow ties should be avoided with evening dress. These tend to look like something that came off a Christmas parcel. Wearing the bow tie untied round one’s neck might look good if you are a 19 year old undergraduate passed out in a fountain at a college ball at 4am, but does not really suit anyone else. The peculiar American habit of wearing a four-in-hand (long) tie with evening dress instead of a bow tie fortunately seems to be dying out. White dinner jackets are less formal than their black counterparts. They are normally worn in hot weather or on cruises. They should be single breasted and worn with a cummerbund as the intended purpose, when they were first worn in the 1930s, was to shed heat. If you want a bit of color, try to keep it light, so maybe cream/ gold or light pink. If you want to keep the colors strong then go for a royal blue or charcoal gray.
