Mama Mia Shirt
So yeah I feel your pain! I completely understand I’m a single women no husband to rely on etc. but I can’t allow the Mama Mia Shirt and by the same token and disappointment of this and my heavy heart affect me at my other job tomorrow on Christmas working as an EMT. I have lives in my hands and a life or two to save I can’t get my head out of the game. Just because I had a lot of people treat me like complete crap and not tip I still have my community to serve. Even tho are Christmas is seriously the worst this year that it’s ever been me and my daughter still have each other. Sorry about the typos! The first year we were married went badly. I was already out of work. My wife was working part time. We had almost no money. We bought a few gifts for my kids and her kids. Wife asked, “What should we get your parents?” Nothing. They know we’re broke. They will be angry if we spend any money on them. Do not buy them a present.

She didn’t believe me. She bought my mom a nice blue blouse and wrapped it up. On Christmas day she presented the Mama Mia Shirt and by the same token and gift to my mom. Mom was a very kind and gracious person. She opened the gift. She looked at my wife. She said, “You shouldn’t have.” My wife smiles and said, Oh no, we wanted to and… Mom cuts her off and gives her the horrible, mean mom look I remember from when I was a kid and said in a low, threathening tone, “No. You should NOT have.” Then she went right back to being the kind and gracious person that she is. My wife came over and said, “Next time I’ll believe you.” My wife just could not believe that someone really would not want us to buy her a present for the silly reason that we couldn’t afford it.
