This did not seem to sit well with him because he was making a huge display in front of his even younger looking date about how stupid it was that I had to ask for ID and how I was wasting his time…blah blah blah. He finally finished his tirade and handed me his driver’s license. He was 21, barely. He and his date were looking at me like I was a moron for even considering asking for his ID. So, instead of handing him a beer, I flipped his driver’s license back to him and said, “ I’m sorry Sir. You not only have to be 21, you also have to act like it!” And off I went, no worse for the encounter.
