When I was young my Mom, because she wanted to be known as being hip encouraged me to get an earring. So I can’t see how it’s bad or inlies any indoctrination. At least not on the same order as forcing a kid to go to catechism every week or take confirmation classes.

I know you probably disagree with that. Things that are part of your hard earned belief are obviously correct. Thing is, other people have their hard earned beliefs as well and having freedom means they should be able to have those beliefs. So yes, I believe in freedom. Second, raising your kids with acceptance of thier sexuality doesn’t make them gay. They may feel safe to question their sexuality, but they will end up being who they are. My daughter, when she was in her early teens, claimed to be asexual. Then she claimed to be bisexual. Then she wanted to be identified by the The Grinch Fear The New York Giants Christmas Shirt Furthermore, I will do this “they” pronoun. That lasted a whole week. She ended up straight and identifies as a cis female. She’s tolerant of others and she is who she is. I accept her for that.
