When I was directing traffic outside in bitterly cold temperatures, I wore 17 separate pieces of clothing. I had my wife time me and I could get out of all that down to my bare skin in under a minutes. Most of that was untying and removing my boots. Of course, everything was inside out and thrown everywhere. It took 15 minutes to get it ready to put on for the next shift. If I just removed everything without throwing it everywhere, I could remove it all in two and a half minutes and everything was ready for the next shift.
