Iowa Santa Claus Minion Merry Hawkeyes Christmas Shirt

Iowa Santa Claus Minion Merry Hawkeyes Christmas Shirt

I couldn’t just stand it when my friends started sharing screenshots of the Iowa Santa Claus Minion Merry Hawkeyes Christmas Shirt also I will do this email they received saying “You’ve completed the Hacktoberfest challenge! Click the link below to claim your free T-Shirt”. I wanted one of those T-Shirts as well. However, I never started contributing, because I thought it would be a rather long and boring process, and I wanted to make meaningful contributions. I know a lot of people who just made some irrelevant commits just for the sake of making pull requests in order to complete the challenge. On the 30th of October, 1 day left to the deadline, I got an idea on how I can make meaningful but simple contributions. I just love JavaScript programming. Most of my GitHub repos are JS plugins. I had also starred 4 JS repos on GitHub. I checked the MD files of all these repositories and checked if they had spelling or grammatical errors. Fortunately, they did. So I fixed those errors, committed them and created a pull request. I made 5 such pull requests. Like that, I completed the Hacktoberfest challenge and got the email saying “You’ve completed the Hacktoberfest challenge! Click the link below to claim your free T-Shirt”. I just hope it’s the right size.

Official Iowa Santa Claus Minion Merry Hawkeyes Christmas Shirt

On the Iowa Santa Claus Minion Merry Hawkeyes Christmas Shirt also I will do this 4th of November, I checked my GitHub profile and found some unread notifications. Few of my changes were approved! Best of which were the changes I made to the NodeJS repository. That was really good news. Not only did I become an Open-source contributor, but I also became a NodeJS contributor. NodeJS is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine. It enables JS developers to write backend programs using JS. I love it and I think it has huge potential. There were a lot of comments on the changes made in the NodeJS repo. One user pointed out that NodeJS had some guidelines on writing commit messages, which I didn’t follow. They were also not happy with the fact that I created separate pull requests for each commit I made. So I thanked them for approving the changes and promised to follow the guidelines the next time. And I will! I am definitely going to do more contributions to NodeJS and other Open-source software.
