I Love Rebelión Shirt
My current favourite design is this one, printed on lovely-feel earth positive material (image from the I Love Rebelión Shirt and by the same token and BSP Shop): I’ve always felt it was a bit shabby to wear a band’s concert T-shirt, if you haven’t actually seen the band live. Old school, I guess. I have some pretty vintage (read: worn and holey) shirts from shows I saw in the ‘80s, and I wear them with great pride. The other thing is, you are likely to wear a shirt that is within the same genre as the band you are going to see. This helps create an essence of community. If you are at an Immolation show, and I see you wearing a Portal or Cephalic Carnage shirt I think we might get along. We might talk about the bands on your shirt, and on mine, and the mutual excitement of seeing Immolation. Not necessarily, but know something about the band/group you’re wearing, as you’re likely to get called out. (Don’t wear a Nirvana shirt and not know who Dave Grohl is, for example.)

Official I Love Rebelión Shirt
It’s actually really common. Unless it is someone that the I Love Rebelión Shirt and by the same token and band has beef with in some shape or form, I don’t see the harm in it. Oftentimes it becomes something of a conversation starter. The band might be under the same record company, or maybe someone else was at that tour. It can actually be a really fun thing. It’s your body – wear what you like ! Nobody else has any right to tell you what you should – and shouldn’t be wearing. I personally don’t think it’s bad taste. I (in my concert going days) would often wear other concert t’s of concerts I had attended. Yes, and sadly I can no longer fit into it!! I recommend to any young people going to their first concert who gets a concert T-shirt to buy a couple sizes larger than what they usually wear to preserve your memories when you age. I have a t-shirt from the Mex Fest which was a 91.1 X radio station sponsored Festival concert held in Tijuana in the 1980s. It has a list of all the awesome bands that were playing there and is a total representation of ’80s alternative music. Oingo Boingo, The Bangles, The Fixx, Squeeze, Chris Isaak, The Hoodoo Gurus, and others. You should had been there! I even had an extra ticket. My friend I was going with ended up getting sick, and I got stuck going with her roommate who wandered off on her own. I still had a great time. I regret that we left before the end of the last song of Oingo Boingo to escape the crowd. I never got to hear them sing Goodbye, Goodbye. Or maybe I did, but with my back to them.
