The week passed and we talked a lot. I said I didn’t want to give up on us. She didn’t either. She basically said that it was the stupidest thing she had ever done. She had been very drunk, had a bad day after a rough week and said that she had felt desired, which was something she thought had been lacking between us for a while. She also said that midway through the act, they had both realised that this was a huge mistake and stopped. I have no reason to think that this was not the truth so I believe her. She also felt conflicted, in that she felt shame and regret, but also that she had enjoyed the experience. Enjoyed feeling desired. Which I can understand, logically.
