Toronto Death Star Retro Shirt

Toronto Death Star Retro Shirt

It’s not in anybody’s interest to upload 50 designs and then disappear for a year and again maybe upload 20 or so and disappear again. Instead, build your portfolio regularly, add one piece a week or so, and keep on focusing on growing your audience outside of Redbubble. I know a lot of people think Redbubble is a place to make easy money with little work, but in the Toronto Death Star Retro Shirt it is in the first place but end it is a market place like any other, if you don’t show up for your work, nothing will happen. I have 2 print on demand shops : Society6 and Redbubble. I was always more serious about S6 from the start, I had about 10 designs in said shop when I made my first sale after less than 2 months. It took 6 months to make that first sale in Redbubble and by the time I did that I think I had about 20 designs. I now make more sales on Redbubble than Society6 in any given month even though I have about half the designs I have on S6 in said shop.

Official Toronto Death Star Retro Shirt

Why? Because overtime I figured out that the Toronto Death Star Retro Shirt it is in the first place but strength of Redbubble is apparel and stickers and I focus on uploading the artwork that I know will translate the best on those items. Society6 is more about home decor, so patterns do better there. During the first year of Merch by Amazon, it was easier to sell text only designs. But with the ever-increasing level of competition as Amazon accepts more new accounts, it has become more difficult to sell text only designs. Out of the 240+ designs that I have currently listed, very few are text-only, and of those, only one is selling well. My very best sellers all include images or are images with no text at all. My strategy, and the strategy I recommend to anyone starting out in Merch is to seek out the top shelf designs in moderately competitive niches, analyze the elements of those designs, then research online and experiment until you have the skills to produce at that level. Do not copy the designs of others. Just learn to emulate the quality, style (with your own twist), and general subject matter.
