Bats love both to eat them and to gather wild banana flower nectar. Bats are banana hunters! It takes a wily predator indeed, to stalk, ambush and capture the elusive wild banana. Among them are the stealthy Asian Elephants, who glide through the jungle shadows with ease, and the bats, who pounce upon them, subdue them, and finally consume them. Also, fruit eating birds such as toucans. Yes, some monkeys and gorillas do eat wild bananas, but not to the extent which most people believe. Here are wild bananas:
