You’d rather be taken advantage of then to be assertive and ask for your belongings back. Really? Grow a set Nothing. As long as you say it about a thing or another person. It is a compliment. It does have a certain wiseguy tone, as in “French restaurants are classy” or “That dame is one classy tomato.” Try elegant, refined, chic, sophisticated, or exclusive.

I have to wear my airline uniform. If I didn’t, I would get fired. So “someone” or several “someones” do tell me what to wear and how. I’m REALLY not a time traveler who can change my place of birth, dude, and you are about 90 points of attractiveness too low to get away with asking such a stupid, frankly offensive question. So, asking where a person is from is done out of curiosity because you genuinely don’t know until they tell you. Don’t be that dickweed who refuses to believe a person the Virginia Dream Shirt and I love this first time they tell you where they’re from. “Where are you REALLY from?” Is an extremely rude question because it is a very presumptuous question: it assumes the person lied to you and that they’re not from where they just told you they’re from.
