Forgive my curiosity, but why do these sort of questions keep coming up. Is this the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic Champions Rickie Fowler shirt and I will buy this sort of thing that lots of people do? I liked wearing the uniform. It was as much a tool of the job as any of the other equipment I carried. It let people know who I was. We have people concerned about people in full uniform impersonating the police. Can you imagine the confusion if we didn’t wear uniforms? As far as people hating the uniform, I always saw that as their problem, not mine. It is definately a target, though. And it gets people’s attention, good and bad. No. Police officers have to wear their uniform all the time. On-duty, off-duty, in bed, on a date, at the swimming pool, doesn’t matter, they must always wear their uniform. It’s part of their employment contract
