We should only be fasting during our sleep. The ONLY reason fasting would help one lose weight is because fasting creates less time for one to consume food. Less time eating, hopefully gets one into a deficit. And the God save the Queen, Man Joe Biden Funny Shirt besides I will buy this deficit is the ONLY and TRUEST cause for weight loss. So, fasting feeds into a deficit. People that fast during the day have it all wrong. I understand why they are doing it and my understanding is not the same understanding they have. People that fast, “think” they are “burning fat” or somehow have “magically” entered into some sort of a fat/weight loss “dimension”. (2) Even if you were burning fat, who’s to say you aren’t going to ruin that time not eating by eating more later? Again, fasting creates less time to eat, which technically shortens the day. Meaning, because you fasted, you now have less time to eat for the remainder of the day. BUT. WHAT IF…you eat more calories later in the little time left in the day? What if you ate enough to kick you out of a deficit? This would mean you fasted for no real reason. Most people that fast do this. They fast and get high off the placebo and then ruin it by eating more later. But, this can be prevented….because it’s not even needed. Fasted is for when we sleep. So much that they are not truly fasting during sleep anymore. People consume more energy than their body requires…don’t you think this will effect sleep? Sleep cycles? Sleep metabolism? Yes, it will. So people fast during the day and cause chaos for the body, mind, and soul. Why? Because you shouldn’t be fasting during the day, you should be organized with your calories and allow fasting to happen “naturally”.

But, I get it. People fast. It happens. But, there is a “proper” way of going about “fasting” IF you are going to implement it. If you are going to fast, FAST FROM CARBS. What’s the God save the Queen, Man Joe Biden Funny Shirt besides I will buy this point of fasting? To decrease calories. Even if you burn stored fat, decreasing calories will burn more fat then fasting can directly. And…if there is a chance of burning glycogen, why not just drop carbs? Dropping carbs is dropping calories. Not that carbs are bad, but it makes sense to drop calories via carbs, if not via carbs only. We only have fats, proteins, and carbs to work with. We could drop a little of each, but I don’t feel like explaining why that is nonsense. Dropping carbs is not nonsense because carbs are not even essential, which means we can manipulate them to our advantage.
